Arvest Bank announced that Chris Dees is joining the bank’s Treasury Management team as an assistant vice president and treasury management sales advisor.

In his new role, Dees will be responsible for working with business clients through a consultative approach, focusing on leveraging technology and fraud prevention services to enhance the efficiency of the businesses’ cash flow. Dees has six years of experience in the banking industry and most recently was a financial sales representative with Arvest, prior to his role as a universal customer advocate with Bear State Bank.

“As a former business owner and experienced banker, Chris can provide valuable insight into what solutions Arvest Treasury Management can provide to better streamline a business client’s receivables and payables functions,” said Shawn Christian, senior vice president and treasury management regional sales manager for Arvest Bank. “In addition to his unique experience, Chris is also a native of the community and understands which products and services are best suited for the business clients in the market.”

Dees will be based in Yellville, but will serve the entire North Central Arkansas market, in addition to Arvest clients in Jonesboro.

He is a board member of the Ozark Arts Council and has participated in productions of the Lyric Theatre.

Dees is a native of Harrison and a graduate of Harrison High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Arkansas Tech University. He and his wife, Michelle, live in Harrison with their daughter.
